Art As Action - Workshop supporting artist Contribution to the Black Mental Health Manifesto

Dear Artist,

We invite you to take part in an exciting creative workshop that will draw on your artistic skills and leadership training so far. The intention of this session is to engage artists in responding to, amplifying, and contributing to the Black Mental Health Manifesto through creative expression.

During the workshop, we encourage you to create art that responds to the Manifesto — whether through dance, music, photography, video, pottery, visual art, spoken word, or any other form.

📅 Date: 24th June

⏰ Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

📍 Location: Dance Studio Manchester

🍽 Food provided

Workshop guided by expert facilitator:

"As a theatre practitioner and cultural producer, I'm passionate about developing policy solutions alongside people most affected by them." — Tony Cealy

✨ Raise awareness of the key points in the Black Manifesto

✨ Deepen your understanding of oppressive systems and policies
