  • 32nd annual Conference and 31st General Assembly of COPEAM

The 32nd COPEAM annual Conference will take place in Malta from 10-12 April 2025, hosted by our newest member Med Media Services Limited - Med.tv.

This year more than ever, taking into account the general context and the persistent situation of conflict and violence in many countries around the world and, in particular, in our region, we have decided to dedicate the 2025 conference to the strength of cooperation in the cultural field as a powerful tool to combat the brutality of war and hostilities between peoples.

The cultural issue in the broad sense – cultural policies and diplomacy, promotion of cultural diversity, dialogue of cultures – has come to the forefront of political concerns for at least two decades.

This is why the Malta meeting will have as its central theme “Bridging divides: the role of cultural cooperation amid global strains” and will question the world of media and their role in strengthening solid, stable and lasting cultural relations between the nations and inhabitants of the Mediterranean.

  • The 4th International Conference on Financing for Development Seville, Spain | 30 June – 3 July, 2025

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are off track. Decades of progress on poverty and hunger have stalled, and in some cases, been thrown into reverse. Many developing economies are mired in debt, with financing challenges preventing the urgently needed investment push in the SDGs.

But amid these challenges there lies opportunity. The Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development (FfD4) provides a unique opportunity to reform financing at all levels, including to support reform of the international financial architecture.

The International Conferences on Financing for Development are the only space where leaders from all governments, along with international and regional organizations, financial and trade institutions, businesses, civil society and the UN System unite at the highest levels, fostering stronger international cooperation.

  • The Africa Food Systems Forum Retreat 1st - 6th September

An opportunity to learn while shadowing our team in delivering AFS sideline Tedx Programming.

The overarching goal of the African countries is to build productive, nutritious, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable food systems that have the power to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030. While substantial progress has been made, overall, action to transform is not yet advancing at the speed or scale required and considerable challenges remain.

The Africa Food Systems Forum 2025 annual summit will be a timely opportunity to convene diverse stakeholders, including world leaders, investors, academia, farmers’ organizations, and the private sector, to spotlight innovations, technologies, best practices, business models, policy delivery mechanisms, and investments to accelerate food systems transformation in Africa and beyond, with youth and women at the helm.scription goes here
