The forum will specifically explore racism and the intersectionalities of racism, A space that supports black youth engagement and understanding of Global politics, Diplomacy and policy thinking.

Black Youth Forum underpins Elevate Young Minds development plans. We have most recently been focused on Community Ownership, by opening Activity Center - Dance Studio Manchester - 2 years ago we stepped toward Reclaiming our culture, to ensure the black and Global Majority community led groups and dance & music teachers can serve their community from a space that cares and supports their vision for  development of their community dance practices.

In 2020, our black youth forum noticed how the creative sector did not understand why the Black Live Protects were significant, although they benefited significantly from our Cultures. As a group of young leaders, we finalised our action by opening a Dance and Music Studio Manchester that works for Global Majority communities a black youth led a creative hub in north Manchester supporting emerging artists, from Black African/Caribbean and Global Majority backgrounds. This space has already shifted the power dynamic in Greater Manchester, and North Manchester, alongside programming classes such ass (Afro Fusion, Dancehall, Breakdance, Kpop, Bollywood. We have become a space where black and minority artists and families feel safe and understood. Moving away from fighting for programming authenticity dance classes to incubating our worn culture. The only black led community dance space. We have become an activity home for black and Majority led charities and cics that wants to deliver alternative professional dance or music provision.
